The 1994 album Forest was inspired by George Winston’s Montana upbringing. The rural folk pianist features seven of his own compositions alongside pieces by Howard Blake, Mark Isham, John Barry, Larry Young and William Bolcom. It was certified Gold by the RIAA in the same year of its release.
